TAKE A STAND

Men and women of God, it is time to TAKE A STAND! The ACLU has repeatedly tried to shut down Christianity in anyway it can. Recently it forced the small city where I attend college to remove their Christian Flag from their memorial Park. I am encouraging every Christian who reads this to go out and buy a Christian Flag! Take a stand! Too long have Christians stood by and watched the world burn. It is time to take a stand for Christ, after all, He took a stand for us already!

Revival!

Revival is coming up in a few weeks for my church and it got me thinking. What could our church be if we saw a real Revival. What could our community be? What could our country be? What would our WORLD be? Can you imagine a community or country of Christians who were on fire for God? A group of people who were 100% dependant on Christ's will and leading for our lives? Can you imagine the power that their prayer would carry to the throne of God daily?

I heard a quote yesterday that really got me thinking. Revival doesn't start with those furthest from God, but with those that are closest to God. For a long time I saw revival as a time that people who were backslidden could repent and for people who were close to remain there or try to get closer. But real Revival starts with those closest to God, becoming transparent with God. Confessing our sins, all of them. For me, as most Christians, this is a hard thing to even think about. But EVERY great revival in history began with people on their knees, confessing sins to God, praising God for what He has done, and asking Him for help and guidance. Friend, I hope that we can see revival. I want revival in my church. Don't you?

For this reason, I am going to start skipping at least one meal a week and dedicating that time for prayer. I think it is a good start and something we all should try. One meal is not much to sacrifice. But we will feel the pain of hunger, and we can count in an honor to sacrifice something for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Thanks for reading, I pray that this could help someone in anyway.
In Christ,
Bro. Steve.

Let the Blogging begin! -Testimony-

Hello there and thanks for viewing my blog. This blog is intented to talk about what Jesus Christ did for not only me but all of human kind on the cross of Calvary. To encourage other believers to hold fast to their faith and not conform to this world, and to help lead lost people to the Messiah Jesus Christ.

Well, my name is Steve. I am 23 years old now and I am in college training to be a  youth pastor for my Lord and Saviour. I was saved when I was five years old by my parents. They were and still are great Christians I could model myself after. I grew up in a small church, and soon discovered my love for singing. I sing all the time now. Back in high school I loved computers and soon learned how to make websites and other things. That was going to be what I did with my life. Soon I would learn God had other plans for me. God flipped things upside down by calling me to Preach His Word. After a while I surrendered to His plan. It took me havign a major wreck for me to surrender. That wreck almost took my life, but Jesus kept me here to accomplish what He wanted me to do. I hope this blog and its posts will be a blessing to some people. If a post I make ever offends you I am sincerely sorry, but I will not apologize for the Word of God. I wll support my beliefs with scripture and if you have a problem with that, take it up with God.

I hope you enjoy your time here on my blog and learn some about Jesus!
